Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actress. She is known for portraying Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant on the HBO show Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek was an American actor who is best known for her character Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. Her other roles include TV appearances, such as the role of Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox's House; Danielle Brookson from the USA Network's Covert Affairs and Lura in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek grew up in Massachusetts and went to Northwestern University. Her first acting role was as a character in The Iphigenia Cycle, a show at the University. She was awarded the Joseph E. Caloway Award for her exceptional performance during the New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek among the ten theater actors to be observed. Dudek landed roles in television as well as on the large screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from the year 2008 until 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton, where she studied at Northwestern University. She appeared in a variety of theater shows as well as made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain. Her role on stage in The Glass Menagerie earned her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. The Book Group in Britain was her first television appearance. She has appeared as guest on a diverse range of shows such as Desperate Women, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs or Six Feet Under. In addition, she portrayed Lucinda in the first episode for Psych. In the following episode, she was an instructor at a high school who has romance with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then offered a regular role in House from its fourth season portraying Amber Volakis one of the doctors who are being considered to Dr. Gregory House for permanent roles within his team. In the House's Heart and Head two-part season finale, her character was eliminated. House saw her again as a fake on the Saviors episode from season five. Dudek subsequently appeared on Big Love and Mad Men in various roles, including Alby Grant's antagonistic spouses, Francine Hanson. Dudek was cast in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks, the sister to the protagonist. Her other film roles comprise Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
